Your Traditional Irish Coffee

 

Here is our Irish-approved recipe to make the perfect Irish coffee! We promise you can make it in less than five minutes too! Since it’s such a simple recipe, it’s the perfect recipe to make when you’re looking for a pick me up or looking to impress friends on the fly. With only a few ingredients (you can easily make it without the whipped cream), it’s a great hot cocktail to make in a pinch! Please note this recipe makes one serving.

Ingredients:

  • Brown sugar
  • Irish whiskey
  • Coffee
  • Whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Brew the coffee just the way you would a regular cup of coffee
  2. Add two teaspoons of brown sugar and three ounces of Irish whiskey
  3. Stir!
  4. Top with a healthy dollop of whipped cream.
  5. Time to enjoy!

 

 

Just Like Adult Chocolate Milk – A Baileys Coffee

 

Who doesn’t love Bailey’s? The silky liquor is like chocolate milk for adults – it’s a creamy drink that has hints of chocolate, hazelnut, and espresso. If you’re looking for a simple way to spice up a cup of coffee – add a splash of Baileys to your drink instead of the typical milk or cream. Ingredients:

  • Baileys
  • Hot Coffee
  • Irish Whiskey
  • Whipped Cream
  • Chocolate shavings

Directions:

  1. Brew the coffee just the way you would a regular cup of coffee
  2. When the coffee is ready, pour the coffee into a tall glass or if you’d prefer, a mug.
  3. Add ¾ ounce of Irish whiskey and 2 ounces of Baileys
  4. Stir!
  5. Top with a healthy portion whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate shavings

To add a twist on this recipe, try a peppermint Baileys coffee! Just add peppermint Baileys instead of regular Baileys, and a dash of Crème de Menthe in addition to Irish whiskey. To garnish, take a candy cane and crush it with a rolling pin or the side of a butcher’s knife. After adding the whipped cream, sprinkle the candy cane crumbs on top of the coffee.   • Hot coffee

  • Cardamom
  • Heavy cream
  • Amaretto

Directions:

  1. Before you brew your coffee, add two big teaspoons of cardamom to the coffee grinds

  3. Pour your coffee into a glass. Leave room for ice.
  4. Add in three ounces of Amaretto and four tablespoons of sugar
  5. Stir!
